BAJ Catering is an off premise catering service with over 20 years experience in delivering the finest meals and service to our clients. Located in New Albany, IN, just outside of Louisville, KY, BAJ has been listed in the Business First Top 15 Catering/Food Service companies for the last eight years. Recently, we were ranked 10th on that list.

Our founder, Betty A. Jones, opened for business 25 years ago because she saw a need for high quality catered meals in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area. Since that time, BAJ has continued to grow and change with the times. Betty Ann’s two daughters, Janice Smith and Julie Schamel joined BAJ Catering 20 years ago. Both leaving other full-time careers, Janice and Julie were looking to bring their individual style, taste, and talents to develop BAJ Catering as it is today.

Janice and Julie became co-owners of BAJ 9 years ago and have continued to put their stamp on the already successful business. From answering questions from potential clients to preparing gourmet meals, they have made major contributions to the company. Just as important are all of the other employees at BAJ. From full-time chefs to part time staff, everyone is professional and makes special strides to ensure that your event is just as you imagined.
